WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – A man is in custody after police say a bullet he shot wound up in the wall of a child’s bedroom on Horton Street in Zebulon Thursday evening.

- Taje Holness has been charged.
- No one was injured.
Taje Holness, 32, has been arrested and charged with Discharging a Weapon Into an Occupied Property.
Officers say they received word that a shot had been fired into the house. They located an exit hole in the house next door. When they attempted to make contact with the people in the home no one would come to the door.
Finally, someone answered and Olness was taken into custody.
No one was injured.
Police have not said whether the shot was thought to have been intentional.
