JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. -- A Sanford man is behind bars after a shooting left three people dead and another injured in southern Johnston County Monday night.

  • Armando Martinez has been taken into custody for the shooting

Authorities say the shooting happened at a home on Woods Crossroads Road around 9.

Three people died at the home and another is fighting for their life at Wake Med.

Authorities believe it all started as an argument.

According to the 911 call, the victims were Martinez's daughters, his son-in-law and one of the daughter's boyfriends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Authorities say he lives at the same home as the victims.

The deceased have been identified as Pamela Jean Ramon, Ledis Alberto Lopez, and Jessica Aguilar. The injured has been identified as Jose Rubio Aguilar.

Martinez was arrested Tuesday morning after he crashed a truck belonging to one of the victims. He has been charged with three counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Attempted First Degree Murder, and one count of Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. 

He has been taken to the Johnston County Jail with no bond.
