DURHAM, N.C. -- A man has been arrested for mailing bomb threat hoaxes.

Michael Dexter Broadie is accused of sending them to government offices in the Raleigh area, resulting in multiple evacuations.

A federal grand jury charged Broadie with two counts of mailing bomb threat hoaxes.

If convicted, he could face a maximum term of 10 years imprisonment for each charge, a $250,000 fine and a term of up to three years supervised release following imprisonment.
