CARY, N.C. -- A Cary man is behind bars after being accused of duplicating copious amounts of child porn. 

  • Chip Hollingsworth, 39, of Cary has been arrested for child porn.
  • The victims include boys as young as 5 years old.
  • Hollingsworth is being held on a $1 million bond. 

Chip Anthony Hollingsworth, 39, was arrested Monday and charged with 18 counts of felony second-degree exploitation of minors. If convicted, the maximum sentence would be 132 years in prison.

Chip was previously employed at Cardinal Charter Academy in Cary. It's said he taught fourth grade and may have been a little league baseball coach.

Warrants detail video and image files found in Hollingsworth's possession which show boys as young as 5 years old being molested by adult men. The offenses detailed occurred between December 2017 and August 2018.

He is being held at the Wake County Justice Center under a $1 million secured bond. Upon release he will be barred from contact with anyone under 8 years old. 

He will reappear in court Sept. 11.
