CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Chapel Hill police are investigating a shooting.

  • Unidentified man shot around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
  • It happened at the North Apartments.
  • Police say there is no threat to the public. 

It happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at the North Apartments in the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Weaver Dairy Road.

Officers say the victim, who has not been named, was shot multiple times and taken to UNC Hospitals.

There is no word on his condition at last check.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident and do not believe there is a threat to the public.
