NORTH CAROLINA -- Grocery store chain, Kroger, is warning the public after fake $250 coupons have started going around. 

  • Fake $250 Kroger coupons are circulating.
  • No stores accept them.
  • If you see it, report it. 

The coupon, which says it's valid at all U.S. stores, circulates every few months or so. 

 In a statement, Kroger said: There is currently an unauthorized "$250 Kroger Shopping Coupon" circulating across social media. This giveaway is not affiliated with or supported by the Kroger Company.

If you see the promotion on your social media, it is advised that you report it and do not share it.
