FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Dozens of people have been without power this week at the Mobile Manor mobile home park in Fayetteville.

  • City cut their power Monday night due to electrical hazards
  • Some power to be restored Friday
  • Food and water donated by local churches, Red Cross and others

The city cut their power Monday night due to electrical hazards on the property.

The city says they've reached out to the property manager in late April and again last week about the code violations. However, they finally got a response after the power was cut, and with a plan about making repairs.

The park has received more than 200 violations since 2010.

The city expects some of the park to have power restored by Friday.

There is no word on when the entire park is expected to be back to normal.
