WASHINGTON — First lady Melania Trump is in the hospital after being treated for what the White House called a "benign kidney condition."

The White House sent out a statement Monday afternoon that Trump underwent an embolization procedure, which was successful with no complications.

The first lady is expected to stay at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for the rest of the week.
