RALEIGH, N.C. -- A man was arrested early Monday in the death of a woman found in a Raleigh motel.

• Mark Brichikov, victim Nadia Brichikov's husband, charged with murder; could receive death penalty or life without parole
• Police say Nadia's body found at Knights Inn; haven't said how she died
• Mark held in Wake County Detention; back in court May 14

Thirty-five-year-old Mark Brichikov is charged with murder. He could receive the death penalty or life without parole.

Officers responded to the Knights Inn in the 3800 block of New Bern Avenue Sunday morning.

That's where they found the body of 48-year old Nadia Brichikov.

After a day long search for Mark, Raleigh Police caught him after midnight Monday.

Mark appeared in front of a judge Monday where he was also charged with driving with a revoked license.

He's being held at the Wake County Detention Center, and will be back in court May 14.
