DURHAM, N.C. -- A man has been charged with arson in connection with a fire at a Durham country club early Sunday morning.

Fire officials received the call just after 4 a.m. about a fire on Old Trail Drive.

Upon arrival, the clubhouse at the Treyburn County Club was fully engulfed in flames but fire officials were able to eventually get the fire under control.

In addition to arson, 18-year-old Steven Watts is charged with breaking and entering and larceny.

Watts bonded out of jail Sunday. He's due in court again next month.
