AUSTIN, Texas — Grab your calculators because March 14 marks Pi Day.

Pi is represented by the Greek letter “π” and is the symbol used in math to represent a constant, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, which is approximately 3.14159.

In honor of the the infinite digits, there are several celebrations, freebies and discounts around the city.

Happy Pie Day at Round Rock Library - The Mathnasium is partnering with the Round Rock Library and hosting several pi-themed activities.

Pi Day show at The Liberty presented by AFHC & FXFY - No Cover but must be 21 to enter. No wristband required.

Pi² Day - The Austin Public Library is celebrating all things pi and pie. Come take part in a pie tasting and discussions about the mysteries of pi.

Pi Day Pizza Party - Little Woodrow's on Burnet is hosting a pizza eating contest and deals on pizza all day.

Pi Day Movie at Yarborough Branch - Austin Public Library Yarborough branch is hosting a screening of the Phantom Tollbooth. Free pie will also be available.

Pi Day Dash & Pizza Party - Run or walk to empower young women during Gixo’s Pi Day Dash. For every mile completed, Gixo will donate $10 to Girls Who Code.
