After a couple of chilly days we’ll see a warm up that will take us to the end of the work week. Despite more clouds than sunshine for Thursday, temperatures will warm to the mid 70s across central North Carolina.

Even warmer Friday with afternoon highs anywhere from the low 70s north to upper 70s across the Sandhills.

Just as you are getting used to the warmer weather, a cold front will move through the state late Friday into Saturday to cool us down for the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid 40s to low 50s all day Saturday. The front will also bring on and off rain to central North Carolina Friday afternoon into Saturday.
