CARY, N.C. – A Triangle mother and her boyfriend both made their first court appearance Monday after police say the woman let the man abuse her 4-year-old child.

27-year-old k=Kylie Hamilton faces negligent child abuse charges while her boyfriend, 27-year old Ronald Frazier is charged with attempted murder and felony child abuse.

According to the arrest warrants, both Hamilton and Frazier live on Clancy Circle. The document also reveals that the child had fractures to her skull, bruises and internal injuries to her liver.

Police believe Frazier is behind those injuries, and Hamilton knew about the incident but waited to get medical attention for her child.

Frazier is charged with attempted first degree murder and felony child abuse and could face life in prison. Meanwhile, Hamilton is charged with child abuse. Neighbors of describe the two as loners who seemed to have something to hide.

 “They wouldn’t talk to anybody. they weren’t friends with anyone in the neighborhood. I think we’re the only ones that ever talked to them because we have four boys and this was a little girl. They had two little girls so the little one came running to me and wanted me to hold her,” neighbor Jackie Forry said.

Both have a court date set for March 5. Hamilton’s bond is set for $100,000 one while Frazier’s is more than $3 million.
