Officials say the Scotland County boy vanished last week. His body was found days later in a nearby pond.

Raul was reported missing Jan. 24 which prompted an Amber Alert which led to days of intensive searching near his home.

Officials say he may have wandered off and drowned. His death has been considered an accident.

During a vigil earlier this week, Raul was recalled as a happy boy who loved animals and trucks.
