RALEIGH – The North Carolina State Fair comes to an end, and for the last 25 years, church has been a part of the fairgrounds on Sunday.

The Sunday service got started for the workers of the fair who wanted to attend church.

Now, anyone who comes is welcome.

“We come together and share and witness and just have a good time in the morning, even though we may not be at home at our regular church,” said Pastor John McBride.

The services are non-denominational.

Next year’s fair dates are tentatively set for Thursday, October 11 through Sunday, October 21.
