RALEIGH, N.C.-- An eerie but beautiful story of revenge and obsession, combines murder and drama from inside a barber's quarters, in the masterpiece Sweeney Todd.  And the Broadway play turned movie is captivating audiences right here in the Tar Heel state over the next few weeks.

PlayMakers Repertory Company concludes its Mainstage Season with Stephen Sondheim’s musical masterpiece “Sweeney Todd,” onstage March 30 through April 23. Performances will take place in the Paul Green Theatre in the Center for Dramatic Art on Country Club Road. Show times will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays and Saturday, April 9.
