Giuli Frendak graduated from Emerson College in May 2016. Just months later she joined the Spectrum News Greensboro team as a reporter and a producer. As a Philadelphia native and a four-year Boston resident, it’s no surprise that the beautiful North Carolina weather is what drew her down south. More so, the ability to see a Panthers game in Charlotte, check out new food spots in Raleigh, and be on the beach in Wilmington all within a few hours is a perk most can’t pass up.
When asked about what inspires her most about her work, Giuli explains that with each impactful story she gets to share, she becomes even more motivated to share the next one. While there aren’t enough hours in the day to share all of the stories that need attention, the stories she gets to tell and the ability to connect with communities across the Triad is one of the most meaningful parts of her job.
When Giuli isn’t at the news desk, she’s spending her time with her rescue pup at local dog parks or the various dog-friendly restaurants across the Triad. Aside from that, Giuli spends her off time decompressing with a game of volleyball or on the mat practicing yoga.
