Republicans have consistently had an advantage in recent years with voters over the age of 65, and President Donald Trump won seniors by four percentage points during last year’s election.

But millions of seniors across the nation rely heavily on federal programs like Social Security and Medicare, and those programs are now facing cutbacks under the Trump administration.

Spectrum News anchor Errol Louis is joined by Beth Finkel, the state director of AARP New York, to talk about the senior vote.
