NORTH CAROLINA — The NC State men's basketball game for Saturday is being canceled after a member of their traveling party tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a release, the team learned of the news Friday night.

The team was traveling to play the University of Connecticut.

All members of the NC State program tested negative prior to travel.

The release also noted that "all members received a PCR test immediately upon arrival at Mohegan Sun and again received negative results prior to their match on December 3."

On Friday morning, the team reportedly tested again, in accordance with NCAA protocols, 24-hours prior to the match-up.
