LEXINGTON, N.C. -- A family owned business in Lexington is using its skills to raise money for other small businesses in the area impacted by coronavirus.

For the last 27 years, Davidson County Screen Printing has been making custom designs. Adam Plyler and his father run the business. When sales stopped due to the coronavirus, Plyler came across an idea to help both his business and others in the area.

"I saw the idea from a friend in a print shop in Florida and they had a great response in his community, so we figured we give it a shot here," Plyler explained.

They decided to start printing and selling t-shirts that say "Here For Good," featuring a skyline of the city. According to Plyler, the message says not only that they're doing good things within the community but also for businesses to know they're there for good.

The business is selling them online for $20 and half of the profits are donated to designated Lexington businesses. As of Saturday, the Davidson County Screen Printing has raised a little over $15,000 for businesses in Lexigton.

"We hope that it's helping the best that I can, all things considered," says Plyler.
