ASHEBORO, N.C. -- The North Carolina Zoological Society has established a trust fund for the daughter of an employee who was fatally injured in a workplace accident July 18.

Branson Langley, an arborist at the North Carolina Zoo, died when he fell 20-30 feet from a tree during a training exercise. 

The organization established a trust fund to honor Langley's memory and provide support to his 9-year-old daughter, Maggie. 

"'The Maggie Fund' will be used to further her education and help her achieve all the dreams that her father wished for her," Jayne Parker, director of communication at the NC Zoological Society, said in a statement. 

You can donate to The Maggie Fund by mailing a check to the North Carolina Zoo Society, or by making a donation online.

Online donations will be accepted beginning at noon Saturday, July 20.
