A retail revival city is one where eBay helps local small businesses create their own online marketplace.

Several small businesses around the city will be able to sell more items around the world, bringing more money into the local economy.

Greensboro is only the third city in the U.S. chosen by eBay for the program.

Applications are open until March and then the 100 small businesses selected will get two and a half months of training in areas like marketing and creating a business model specific to their needs.

The chief marketing officer of eBay said they chose Greensboro because of its progressive history and community support.

Anyone can apply, you just have to want to work and succeed in a global digital economy.
