ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- A school bus driver is dead after suffering a medical emergency while driving in China Grove Monday morning. 

We are told the bus was from China Grove Middle School and students were on the bus, which crashed, but that none of them were hurt.

The bus went off the road and into the yard of a house at the intersection of North Main Street and Highway 152.

The driver's name has not been released.
