NORTH CAROLINA -- Showers are set continue fofr Friday, with some heavy rain expected. Milder temperatures with highs in the 50s will be present through the weekend. 

The rain will be widespread Friday, with a few scattered showers around Friday night. Highs for Friday will be in the low to mid 40s for the Triad, low to mid 50s for the Triangle, and mid to upper 50s for the Sandhills. Lows tonight drop to the 40s and 50s, with some rain lingering. Despite clouds and rain, Saturday will be mild. Highs in the low to mid 50s for the Triad/Triangle, with highs near 60 in the Sandhills. Rainfall totals anywhere from 1-2", with isolated areas picking up more. 

 

 

 

We should see improving conditions on Sunday, with sunshine and clouds. Highs make it back into the low to mid-50s for the Triad, mid to upper 50s around the Triangle and lower 60s in the Sandhills. Next week starts out sunny and bright. Look for highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Dry for the first half of next week, before another rain chance next Thursday and Friday.
