HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point police are investigating a shooting that took place early on Wednesday morning.
- Officers located Marvin O. Dunlap suffering from a gunshot wound
- At around 10:48 a.m., police were informed that Dunlap died from his injuries
- He is now the 19th person killed in High Point in 2018
On Wednesday, November 28 at 1:39 a.m., High Point police officers headed to Albert Avenue in regards to a call from a woman saying her boyfriend was shot. Once on the scene, officers located Marvin O. Dunlap suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem with life-threatening injuries.
At around 10:48 a.m., police were informed that Dunlap died from his injuries.
He is now the 19th person killed in High Point in 2018.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
