GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Cloudy skies will be the rule as we head into Friday. Overnight we will see patchy light rain and drizzle over the region as temperatures fall in the mid 40s.

  • Saturday night into Sunday morning will bring the coldest air we've had so far this season

The rain and drizzle starts off Friday with a line of showers expected by afternoon. Temperatures will not rise much from the morning low with a high of only 50 degrees.

Ample sunshine will be in the forecast this weekend, in spite of that it will feel like winter. Highs on Saturday only in the low 50s and it will be breezy.  

Saturday night into Sunday morning will bring the coldest air we've had so far this season with temperatures dropping to the upper 20s by daybreak. After a cold start on Sunday, highs only reach the upper 40s to low 50s under the sunny skies. Next week features unseasonably cool air and more rain.
