FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Rapper J. Cole's The Dreamville Foundation has announced a new initiative that will support victims of Hurricane Florence after having to reschedule Dreamville Festival.

You can donate money that will go toward "hot food stations placed throughout the city, temporary housing options for families, and stocking of food pantries/shelters." The foundation will also support other local nonprofits who are providing services toward people in Fayetteville.

Weather was an issue for the Dreamville Festival which was scheduled to come to the Triangle just before Florence landed in the Carolinas. It is now set to take place April 6, 2019 at Dorothea Dix Park. 

The rapper, whose real name is Jermaine Cole, grew up in Fayetteville and currently resides in Raleigh.
