GREENSBORO -- Pig Pounder Brewery is expanding in Greensboro's Midtown district.

• Brewery opening the ‘Pavilion' next door to its original location
• New space is 4,000 square feet and will able to hold about 275 people
• The Pavilion is set to open early next month

They're opening the ‘Pavilion' next door to its original location.

The new space is 4,000 square feet and will able to hold about 275 people.

The staff says the neighborhood and re-brand to 'Midtown district' helped grow the business.

"Here in Midtown, I think it's really starting to boom and I think one of the things that's actually pushing it is, a lot of the local art that he's doing right now. There's some right up here off of Bessemer, there's tons across the street at Red Cinemas, the movie theater, there's some over here at Midtown Financial," said Cassi Winfree, Pig Pounder Brewery’s taproom manager.

The Pavilion is set to open early next month.

The newly remodeled patio should open in the next few days.
