WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Forsyth County Schools have confirmed that multiple students have been diagnosed with whopping cough.

  • Cases reported in North Forsyth High School, Mount Tabor High School and the Career Center
  • Whooping cough is highly contagious
  • Anyone who suspects symptoms should contact their primary care provider

Cases have been reported to the state health department from North Forsyth High School, Mount Tabor High School and the Career Center.

Whooping cough is highly contagious and the health department advises anyone who suspects symptoms to contact their primary care provider immediately.
