GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture approved Gov. Roy Cooper's request for temporary food and nutrition benefits for tornado victims.
- One month temporary benefit for those eligible
- For those who already receive food stamps and lost food because of the storm
- Apply at the Guilford County and Rockingham County Department of Social Services
Those eligible will receive a one month temporary benefit for their household.
Those who already receive food stamps and lost food because of the storm may request replacement food stamps.
Those who need to apply can do so at the Guilford County and Rockingham County Department of Social Services.
