The same large and powerful storm system that dished out severe storms and tornadoes across parts of the Triad on Sunday will now drive down unseasonably cold air to the region tonight. In fact, low temperatures should crash into the middle 30s. That means areas of frost are possible and could end up damaging plant that are sensitive to cold weather. Therefore, a frost advisory has been posted for all of Central NC for Tuesday morning.

Although sunshine is set for Tuesday be prepared for another rather cool and breezy day. However, warmer temperatures will be more noticeable on Wednesday. That's because highs will reach the uppers 70s!

Another shot of cooler air should around later in the week, but our next chance for rain seems to hold off until late this weekend or maybe even early next week.
