IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. - Mooresville-based Lowe’s Home Improvement has announced even more layoffs as it moves some jobs offshore to India.

The company announced Wednesday its plans to cut 125 information technology workers in the third round of layoffs this year.

In January, Lowe’s laid off approximately 2,400 full time workers and another 500 corporate jobs in February.

Lowe’s says it's providing a severance package, outplacement assistance and other help for the laid off employees.
