A dynamic storm system with widespread severe weatherwill move through the Midwest and Deep South Friday. A weakening line of storms will move through our state on Saturday.
Rain chances for our region will occur in the afternoon. While a few storms are possible, severe weather risk looks low.
Before and after the rain moves out, gusty wind will be an issue, and may lead to downed trees and powerlines without any sort of thunderstorm threat.
We'll clear out and cool down for the end of the weekend on Sunday.
