After a lull in the rain activity Monday night into the first part of Tuesday, rain chances will ramp up again for Tuesday evening ahead of an approaching cold front. The actual front will pass through Tuesday night.

With this, we'll look for a line of heavier rain and perhaps even a weak thunderstorm pushing through the coast just before midnight. Highs ahead of this will warm into the 60s to low/mid 70s.

Rapidly clearing skies Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning will lead into a day of sunshine Wednesday and Thursday, just in time for Valentine's Day! Highs will be in the 50s to mid 60s both days.
