WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. -- A historic landmark and oceanfront icon of Wrightsville Beach has announced it will reopen in time for Valentine’s Day weekend.
The Blockade Runner Beach Resort's manager announced Wednesday that the building will reopen in two stages.
The Tower Building containing the largest block of rooms is expected to reopen February 15, followed by the reopening of the balcony building in March or April.
The Blockade Runner closed back in September to repair damage sustained from Hurricane Florence.
