Harris wants a judge to certify him the winner in the race, but Democrat Dan McCready says this would step on the toes of the ongoing investigation into ballot fraud.

Spectrum News recently sat down with each candidate separately to discuss their views on the race.

“Or could it be that they weren't prosecuted because this was a situation that we would just lay in wait?  And then the time would come if $11 million and Dan McCready couldn't beat Mark Harris maybe this would be an insurance card that would be played for a do-over," said Harris.

“The fact that hundreds, if not thousands, of people had their votes and voices stolen here in North Carolina on account of Mark Harris' campaign, and he has yet to apologize,” said McCready.

The hearing will take place Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in a Wake County courtroom.
