Clouds will continue to increase during the day Thursday ahead of a cold front set to push through the coast Thursday night. Highs will warm back into the low to mid/upper 50s by Thursday afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Look for light spotty showers Thursday night before the front clears the area by Friday morning.

Enjoy a couple more days of dry weather Friday and Saturday before rain moves back in by Saturday evening along with our next cold front. Highs will warm into the 60s ahead of this front for both days. The rainiest day out of your MLK Day weekend will be Sunday. Rain amounts of up to three-quarters of an inch will be possible for the whole coast.

By Monday morning, as this system exits, a dry but arctic airmass is set to move in behind it, leading to some of the coldest temperatures we've seen so far this season for MLK Day!
