CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A lot of North Carolina parents had to scramble to find childcare during the winter weather last week.

  • "Juggle" is the new app created by mothers
  • The babysitters available have been vetted with background checks and interviews
  • The average price is $10-$15 an hour

However, a new app, launching soon in Charlotte, aims to make finding a babysitter a little bit easier.

"Juggle" is the new app created by mothers.

You need a referral code from another family to use the app, and the babysitters available have been vetted with background checks and interviews.

Spectrum News spoke to one mother who says she used Juggle while on vacation with her family and says it's very convenient.

"It's a lot of college students, so a lot of them are going in elementary education or nursing. They are well-versed in taking care of children and know more things than we do sometimes," said mother, Amber Jenkins.

Juggle is already available in the Triangle and Winston-Salem. The average price is $10-$15 an hour.
