ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. -- Jacksonville Police responded to a school shooting threat Friday morning. 

Northside High School was locked down around 7 a.m. for a little over an hour.

Officers were able to identify a 14-year-old student as the person responsible. 

Due to their age, their name will not be released. 

Charges have not been filed.
