WARSAW, N.C. -- Anthony Wall is now appealing a guilty verdict in his resisting arrest case.

Wall is the young man whose arrest at a Warsaw Waffle House gained national attention in May. The video shows an officers hands around Wall's neck before pushing him to the ground.
Earlier this month, Wall was found guilty of resisting arrest. His 20-day sentence was suspended, meaning he would not have to spend any time in jail.
Wall's charge for disorderly conduct was dismissed. Paperwork was filed Monday, appealing the verdict. Wall's attorney is asking for a jury trial.
