New Bern city officials say they are working on multiple rescues along with out-of-state FEMA teams.
“We are coming to get you,” they tweeted.
If you are inside of a building, FEMA suggests that you go to the highest open level until rescuers arrive. Do not go inside closed attics during flooding as it is possible to become trapped.
