New Bern city officials say they are working on multiple rescues along with out-of-state FEMA teams.

“We are coming to get you,” they tweeted.

If you are inside of a building, FEMA suggests that you go to the highest open level until rescuers arrive. Do not go inside closed attics during flooding as it is possible to become trapped

In addition, the New Bern Police Department says a new curfew is in effect from 7 a.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday, at least.
