PINETOWN, N.C. -- Eight dogs were found dead and 32 other's seized in eastern North Carolina.

  • Deputies found several emaciated dogs with no access to food or water.
  • Deputies found skeletal remains of five dogs, one dead dog and two dead puppies.
  • Dogs are classified as Walker Deer Hounds. 

Now, 29-year-old Kenneth Davis, 24-year-old Leanne Alvarez and 44-year-old Lloyd Davis face several charges including animal cruelty and felony killing an animal by starvation.      

Beaufort County Sheriff's deputies found several dogs with no access to food or water at a home on Davis Lane in Pinetown.

They also found eight different places on the property where the dogs were kept in cages.

The dogs are classified as Walker Deer Hounds.
