ONSLOW COUNTY-- The snow may have melted, but people in Onslow County are still dealing with headaches thanks to last week's winter storm.

Ruptured pipes in homes and potholes on the street are among the issues.

The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority saw record high water usage at 13.7 million gallons a day, nearly double the January average.

They believe people could have leaks in areas that aren't visible.

They're encouraging you to check to prevent any property damage or increased water bills.

If you're an ONWASA customer and discover a leak, a technician can be sent out to shut your water off, free of charge, until you get it fixed.
