The touring Broadway musical is in Raleigh for a six-day run, with eight special performances from the energetic cast. Two of those cast members, Eric Chambliss who plays Bob Gaudio, and Jonny Wexler, who plays Frankie Valli, sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair for a look at the show.

Wexler is reprising his role as Valli after three great seasons as Joe Pesci. Chambliss says it’s a dream to take the stage in this production, after performing on Broadway in other hits like Fiddler on the Roof

Broadway’s 12th longest running musical left the main stage in 2017, so catching one of the main touring casts is one of the best ways to see the show. It tells the behind-the-music story of the Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, just four guys from Jersey until they sang their first note.

The crowd is known to even sing along to the popular hits, like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”

The show runs Wednesday, November 13 through November 16 at 7:30 p.m. Then you can catch two performances on Saturday November 17 and Sunday, November 18.
