Raleigh— The Wake County Public School System is hosting a one stop shop this weekend for parents and teachers interested in magnet, early college and year-round schools.  On Saturday, November 3rd, WCPSS is hosting it’s annual fair, to showcase options within the district.

But families won’t have to hop from school to school, the fair is taking place at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh from 9am-12pm.  It will give parents and students the chance to speak with teachers, principals, and other families about their many options.

Tamani Anderson Powell of the Wake County Public School System's Magnet and Curriculum Enhancement Programs, sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair for a look at the fair.  She says it’s the perfect opportunity to see if a different schedule or way of learning works best for your kid.  But it’s important to check your address to see what schools you qualify for, and fill out the paperwork on time.

The Early College application process is underway now and runs through November 30th.  The Magnet and Year-Round application runs January 4th through the 30th.  To learn more, visit their website
