RALEIGH, N.C. -- Back by very popular demand and just in time for Halloween, Lynne Taylor-Corbett's artistic interpretation of Bram Stoker's Dracula returns to the stage after a four-year hiatus. It's a chillingly beautiful ballet performed by some of the best dancers in the world.

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the show’s star, dancer Marcelo Martinez, and the executive director of the Carolina Ballet, Michele Weathers, for an inside glimpse at the upcoming performances. It's quite the unique production, as it weaves in Dracula and Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death.

It’s been several years since the show hit the stage in Raleigh, but it’s a performance that Marcelo knows all too well. He told Blair that this is the fourth time he’s taken on the role, which was originally created for him.

The fun doesn’t stop with the performances though. The ballet is also hosting a wildly spooky fundraiser called "Nightmare on South Street," that will include food, cocktails, a dance party with music, the performance itself, and a special Halloween Costume Contest judged by Spectrum News’s Caroline Blair. The winner of the costume contest will win a special travel prize package.
