CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Thursday, December 12, North Mecklenburg High School will join some of the top basketball programs from across the U.S. and Canada for the 7th annual Bojangles' Bash.

  • Bojangles' Bash showcases some of the top high school basketball programs in the U.S. and Canada
  • Will be held in Columbia, SC with a tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. on December 12
  • Officials say sellouts are common, as the Bojangles' Bash has become on of the top prep basketball events in the Southeast

The elite showcase takes place in Columbia, South Carolina from December 12 to 14, and features 14 schools from six states and Canada. Officials say nine of ESPN's top 100 high school programs, including top ten nationally ranked Oak Hill Academy and Huntington Prep, and students with offers from some of the country's top ranked basketball programs will be participating in the event.

The games will be held in the main gymnasium at Ridge View High School. Officials say the Bojangles' Bash has become one of the top prep basketball events in the Southeast. 

"We are thrilled to welcome such a talented group of players to this year's Bojangles’ Bash,” said Brian Rosefield, Bojangles’ Bash Director and Athletic Director of Ridge View High School. “The three-day long showcase will include appearances from some of the nation’s top players and schools all gathering together for a thrilling, action-packed weekend of basketball that the players, coaches and fans are all sure to love.”

This will be North Mecklenburg High School's third straight appearance in the #BoBash. 

Hickory's Moravian Prep will also be competing in this year's games. This is their first year making an appearance.

  • Moravian Prep (Hickory, N.C.)
  • A.C. Flora (Columbia, S.C.)
  • Orangeville (Mono, Ontario, Canada)
  • South Florence (Florence, S.C.)
  • Keenan (Columbia, S.C.)
  • North Mecklenburg (Charlotte, N.C.)
  • Sumter (Sumter, S.C.)
  • National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, M.D.)
