Ryan Finley lead the way throwing for 370 passing yards and two touchdowns. His dynamic receiving corps continues to improve with two receivers going for over 100 yards.

Kelvin Harmon showed flashes of his NFL potential catching eight balls for 129 yards, while freshman Thayer Thomas had himself a breakout game had nine catches for 114 yards and one touchdown.

The Wolfpack were without one of their star receivers, Jakobi Meyers, who lead the way in their season opening victory over James Madison.

That didn't stop Finley from slinging it all over the field including to the former walk-on who earned trust from the senior quarterback. Finley says in reference to Thayer, "He's special, he's worked for it, and he's earned the right to be on this stage and I've really been impressed with him."

North Carolina State will now get ready for their first big test of the season when they host 14th ranked West Virginia next Saturday at Carter-Finley Stadium. For now, the Pack will enjoy their 2-0 start and hope to improve on their performance from Saturday.

"We got off to a fast start which is something we preached. The first drive of the 3rd quarter is an area we have to improve. We've got to get points on that first drive of the half which is something we're going to continue to work on. For us to get a win like that, it's really important that we're 2-0 and really excited for next week" said Finley.
