LEXINGTON, N.C. — North Carolina’s first Elvis tribute festival will kick off in Lexington this week, a city where the King of Rock n’ Roll himself once performed.

The four-day festival will feature performances by established headliners, as well as a competition for Elvis Tribute Artists

The NC Tribute Festival to the King will run from Thursday to Sunday in Lexington

 

According to Visit Lexington, the four-day festival will feature several established headliners. A group of Elvis Tribute Artists will also compete for a cash prize and the opportunity to compete at the Ultimate Tribute to the King event in Memphis, Tennessee.

Elvis Tribute Artist Donny Moseley said this will be his first competition, and his love of the King is something he shares with his family.

“I’ve been listening to him since I was little. Mom, she would play records all the time,” Moseley said.
