GREENSBORO, N.C. – All you foodies out there may miss going on in-person food tours, but one business has managed to make them virtual.

Nikki Miller-Ka, a tour guide for Taste Carolina, is now mixing cocktails at home in front of a camera instead of doing it in front of a crowd of people at different restaurants and bars.

Miller-Ka says she misses interacting with guests in person, but she says doing the food tours virtually has a lot of perks. She says that is because it's almost easier to educate and give people more information about the cocktails and food on their online tours.

"People are typing in questions in the chat and we have other guides and our owner Lesley are behind the scenes, if you will, helping answer questions, and links are really easy to drop into the chat," Miller-Ka emphasizes.

That being said, they also have to go around and pick up all the food and spices to deliver to their customers.

Taste Carolina food tours are virtual in most cities across North Carolina with the exception of Wilmington, which is still having some in-person food tours.
